First Day of Kindergarten

Today my baby started kindergarten. For most people, this can be a really sad and scary time but ours was WONDERFUL. Last year we made the tough decision to put Skye in private school for preschool. We were really torn since it was all day, VERY expensive and she was so little. So, we prayed about it and decided if she got admitted, we'd let her go. Well, she did and we did. Our experience was wonderful. She had sweet Mrs. Davis who was a true vetern of 24 years. She gave lots of hugs and praise and Skye loved it. The best part was she met her best friend, Angelica. They've been inseperable since and God blessed us again....Skye and Angelica are in the same class again this year. And....a little birdie told her new teacher (another Mrs. Davis) that they were best friends so they are in the same group, at the same table and their cubbies are next to each other. What a joy! That's one thing (of many) that I love about private school. They'll make these little accomodations. Anyway, instead of tears and anxiety, my sweet angel was thrilled about school, up early and couldn't wait to arrive. God is so good!
